John immigrated to America Oct 1866. He was a baker by trade and opened his own bakery simply called "Sost Bakery" in Trenton, N.J. After he died, his wife Catherine ran it until she died at the age of 92. He married Catherine Bohnenberger June 13 1868 in Trenton, N.J. and together they had 6 children;
