William G. Alcorn
NAMPA — Services for William G. Alcorn, 65, of 812 fourteenth avenue south, who died Wednesday in a Nampa hospital after an extended illness, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Alsip chapel. Interment will be at Kohlerlawn.
An area farmer, Mr. Alcorn was born Nov. 27, 1892, in Ashley, Ill., and was reared in Illinois, coming to Nampa in 1905. He was married to Blanche Johnson Jan. 7, 1922 and had lived here off and on since that time. He operated a farm northeast of Caldwell for 15 years. Mr. Alcorn was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife of Nampa, include three brothers, Joe of Nampa, Richard of Helena, Mont., and Nelson Alcorn, Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Duerock, Nampa, and Mrs. Rose Speer, Bakersfield, Calif.
