Let us not forget Staff Sergeant Lawrence Anthony Bierbaum, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SSG Bierbaum served our country until May 29th, 1970 in Thua Thien, South Vietnam. He was 24 years old and was married. Lawrence died from multiple fragmentation wounds/mine. His body was recovered. Lawrence was born on April 29th, 1946 in Springfield, Illinois.
