Millie was born in Neptune in 1934. She attended Battin High School in Elizabeth and graduated in 1952. She was a secretary for many years, starting out at Linde Air in Newark. She also worked for Kimbo Educational in Long Branch and Robins Engineering in Little Silver. She served as a volunteer at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune and was also a Girl Scout Leader. Millie was also instrumental in the development of Rhogamon,a drug used to treat RH factor disorders in pregnant women. Being RH Negative, she donated many pints of blood, which subsequently led to the development of the now used drug, enabling other women with the same metabolic disorder to carry and give birth to heathy babies. She was very proud of that.

She was predeceased by her son, Stephen L (1960). She was survived by her husband of 40 years, Nick. She was also survived by Her daughter, Elizabeth, her brother: William F. McTague, Sr. (1937-2007) , her grandchildren: Michael and wife Christi (and great-granddaughter, Mikhaela Grace), Colleen, Kathryn, and Shannon Costello. She is missed by all who knew and loved her. Her wit and humor will be remembered for many years.
