Born on August 28, 1926 in Lidgerwood, ND, she moved to Minnesota and graduated from high school there. She then move to Indiana where she attended Anderson College and met Phil Bach, whom she would marry. Ardy lived most of her life in Albany and at age 50 went back to school to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for several years at the Delaware County Home where she retired as Assistant Director of Nursing. She also helped her husband with their local business, Bach's Rexall Drug Store for several years.
Ardy was a member of Albany United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working in the A.U.M. Resale Shop. In later years she attended Union Chapel Ministries. She was a former member of Tri Kappa sorority and a local Bridge card club.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ernest Philip Bach, Jr., who died in 2006. Also deceased are her parents, Alf and Caroline Eliason; a brother, Lloyd Eliason; and a sister, Noreen Genske.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Albany United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery.
