Married Ida May Harris, 1872, Smithfield, Cache, Utah
Married Isabell Avery Hunter, 2 Jan 1890, Smithfield, Cache, Utah
History - Allan Findley Crockett was a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At the age of 18 Allan was baptized in Scotland and came to the United States alone on the sailing ship, “Constitution”, on June 24, 1868. At the age of 18 he crossed the plains in the John Gillespie Company that same year and went north to live in Smithfield. He was an excellent carpenter and built many homes as well as building caskets. A book received as partial payment for a casket is in my possession.
