Thomas Clifton Beavis Jr., age 79, of Palestine, Texas died December 23, 2009 in Okolona, Mississippi. Mr. Beavis was born January 8, 1930, in Palestine to Thomas C. and Ellie Mae Woltz Beavis. He was a 1947 graduate of Palestine High School. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Jan Beavis Johnson. Mr. Beavis is survived by grandchildren, Matt and Sarah Sullins. Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel was in charge of arrangements with burial in Palestine City Cemetery, New Addition Section.
