OBIT:

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Boone's Mortuary for Edward O. Thomas, 68 who died Thursday following a major surgical operation performed Tuesday. He was born in Iowa, July 1, 1866 and had resided locally since 1915.

Surviving relatives are three sons, Jesse and Arthur Thomas of Silver Creek and Alvin Thomas of Aljune. Rev. Carl Johnson of the Christian Church officiated at the funeral. Burial was at Claquato.
