Conrad Aschenbrenner, longtime Berthoud resident, died Saturday, at the age of 87.
Mr. Aschenbrenner was born July 26, 1874, at Norka, Russia and came to the United States April 10, 1904, settling first in Denver. He and Margaret Yost were married Dec. 18, 1904 in Denver, where they lived until 1915, when they moved to Berthoud, making their home there since. The deceased was a member of the Salem Congregational church of Berthoud.
In addition to his wife, survivors include the following children: Conrad, Jr. and Harry and Reuben Aschenbrenner all of Berthoud, Adam Aschenbrenner of Wiggins, Jake Aschenbrenner of San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Emma Honstein of Denver, Mrs. Reuben Brehm of Loveland and Mrs. Virginia Ward of Westminster. There also are 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the E.U.B. church, Berthoud, with interment in the Berthod Green Lawn cemetery.
