ATWOOD - William Atwood passed away at his home, 225 Terry Street, Monday evening, after having been ill for nearly a year, but seriously so only a few weeks. Deceased was born in Newark, Indiana, 68 years ago, and came to this community when a boy. Later he became a coal dealer. In 1883 he married Miss Mary Ellen Billmire. He leaves his widow and two children, Noah Atwood and Mrs. Joe Goforth, both of this city.
Funeral services will be held a 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Christian church, Rev. J.F. Findley officiating. Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery.
