STALEY - John R. Stinson, 51, of 6010 White's Chapel Road died Jan. 20, 1993, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Community Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A native of Randolph County, he was a Weiman Furniture Manufacturing employee.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Martha Lopez Stinson; sons, Anthony Mark Stinson of Ramseur, Thomas Stinson of Nebo; stepson, Pratt Morales of Southmont, Jim Morales of Thomasville; stepdaughters, Ms. Mattie Morales of Statesville, Ms. Vickie Brim of Asheboro; sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Rinehardt of Ramseur, Mrs. Goldie York of Staley, Mrs. Lillie Nance of Asheboro, Dr. Helen Stinson, Mrs. Mildred Powers, both of Greensboro, Mrs. Lula Payne of Hayes; brother, Henry Stinson of Ramseur; nine grandchildren.
