RUTH PARKS YORK
Mrs. Ruth Parks York, 94, of Rt 4, Liberty, died Wednesday (4-15-92) in Brian Center of Nursing in Asheboro. The daughter of the late Lester and Alice Parks and the widow of, Ernest York, she was a native of' Randolph County, a homemaker, and was a member of Parks Crossroads Christian Church. Surviving are son, Earl D. York Sr. of Liberty; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Parks Crossroads Christian Church Cemetery, with Rev. Jimmy Turner officiating.
