Bernice Evans Aldous, 61, 938 West Wyeth, died Thursday afternoon at Pocatello Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 30, 1922, in Malad, to John E. and Phoebe Ann Evans. She attended school in Malad. She also Worked as a waitress.

She married Bud Tolman July 7, 1941, and later divorced.

On Sept 30, 1946, she married Irvin Aldous and they made their home in Pocatello since 1954. She had been employed by the A-1 American Motel and also managed an apartment building.

She was a member of the LDS First Ward and enjoyed needlework and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Jay Tolman and Jerry Aldous, a daughter, Mrs. Russ (Julie) Mickelson, all of Pocatello; a sister, Mrs. Wayne (Delta) Bertram, and a brother, Donald Hughes, both of Malad; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Manning Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:30-9 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be in the Malad cemetery.
