17 Oct 1960: John H. Anspach, 70, of 245 West Main Street, Annville, died at his home at mid-day Saturday, of a coronary occlusion. He was the son of the late William and Sarah Kline Anspach, and was a native of North Annville Township. His wife, Sarah, nee Bailor, died in 1940. He was a World War 1 U. S. Army veteran, having served as a sergeant in the Machine Gun Battalion in the Third Cavalry. He held membership in the Connor-Streicher Post No. 569, and the Washington Band of Annville. He was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church of Annville. Survivors include four sons, John, of Robins Air Force Base, GA; James of Myerstown; Stanley of Annville; and Russell, of the U. S. Army, in Korea; daughter Eleanor, wife of Louis Moscone, of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; two grandchildren; and brother Raymond, of Lebanon. Interment to be in the Mt. Annville Cemetery.
