12 Dec 1916: Mrs. Emma J. Andrews, widow of the late Charles B. Andrews, of this city, died this morning at 1:45 o'clock at her residence, 28 South Fifth street, from pneumonia, following an illness of one week. Her death followed close on that of her son, the late John W. Andrews, who shared the home with her for many years. She was 71 years old and leaves two sons, Harry A. Andrews, the wholesale merchant; and William H. Andrews, of Third Street and Strawberry Alley. A sister, Mrs. Peter Sando, of this city, is also left. She was a member of the First Reformed church.
