Biographical Information:

Phoebe was the daughter of William Husband Searl/Searle (1801 – 1880) and Anne Hill (1801 – c. 1850)

She married Charles Oliver Abbey on the 20th of December 1847 in Hope Township, Durham County, Canada West.

Their residences were:
1852, Hope, Durham, Canada West (Ontario, Canada).
1860, Oak Grove, Dodge, Wisconsin, USA.

Phoebe applied for military widow's pension on 16 July 1863.

Her residences after Charles death were:
1870, Byron, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA
1880, Byron, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, USA
1900, Sherry Township, Wood County, Wisconsin; residing with her married daughter Lucinda.

They had five (5) children:
~ Lucinda Metilda Abbey Shidell (1848 – 1926)
~ Isaac 'Ike' Abbey (1851 – 1925)
~ William Searle Abbey (1853 – 1935)
~ Mary Jane Abbey Krause (1859 – 1954)
