PFC Asher Aubrey Anthony, Vietnam Veteran, Native of Greensboro, NC.

PFC Asher Anthony was a member of the Army Selective Service and Draftee. PFC Anthony served our country until July 11th, 1967 in Quang Nagai, South Vietnam. He was 22 years old and was married. It was reported that Asher died from small arms fire or grenade. His body was recovered. Asher was born on October 14th, 1944 in Greensboro, North Carolina. PFC Anthony is on panel 23E, line 049 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for less than a year.

His Father was Aubrey Hugh Anthony and he was the husband of Mrs DeAnn E Anthony, 421 Routh Circle, Greensboro, NC.

He served with Charlie Company, 35th Infantry Regiment, "Cacti Forever", 25th Infantry Division, "Tropic Lightning", USARV.
