Mary Janette Meikle Duncan was born January 09, 1869 in Olathe, Johnson Co., Kansas, the daughter of John and Mary Miner Meikle. She was married to Charles William Duncan, February 19, 1888 in Kansas. They had 5 children survive into adulthood: George, May, Millie, Faye, and Edna.

She passed away April 21, 1943 in Conway Springs, Kansas and is buried in Conway Springs Cemetery, Conway Springs, Kansas.

Survivors are her husband and children, 4 sister's: Lydia Moyer, Clara Halsey, Callie Gardner, Etta Bruce, and 2 brothers: Floyd Meikle, Alfred Meikle.
