Ambrose - died, Wednesday evening, July 5, at the family residence, 1801 E. Jackson St., Stephen Ambrose, aged 15 years. The boy's death was very sudden and was caused by inflammation of the brain, the result of an attack of spinal meningitis. He was employed at Rathchford Bother's electrical supply house and worked up to last Saturday night. At midnight Sunday, he became ill with spinal meningitis and for 13 hours was unconscious. Inflammation of the brain set in and the boy died about six o'clock last evening after intense suffering. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ambrose. His parents, two brothers, George and Thomas, and a sister, Katie, survive him. The deceased was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends, who will be deeply grieved to learn of his sudden death. The time of this funeral will be announced later.
