Dean A. Anderson, 73, residing at 1303 N. Leeds St., Kokomo, Ind., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo. He was born on May 7, 1924, in Chicago,Ill., to the late Otto and Imogene (Barker) Anderson. Mr. Anderson resided in Kokomo, since 1995, moving there from South Bend, where he spent the majority of his life.

Mr. Anderson retired from White Farms after many years of service and worked part-time at the South Bend Tribune for the past 10 years as a typesetter. He was born on May 7, 1924, in Chicago,Ill., to the late Otto and Imogene (Barker) Anderson.

On Dec. 20, 1951, in South Bend, he married Margaret C. Tebo, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Judith Tucker of Three Rivers, Mich., and Michelle V. Jons of Niles, Mich.; three sons, Casmier Rounds, Jr. of Kokomo, Tom L. Anderson of Dallas, Texas, and Keith L. Anderson of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Gerald T. Anderson of Three Rivers and Keith O. Anderson of Granger, Ind. Mr. Anderson was a member of the Ardmore Wesleyan Church and a former member of the former Stewart Memorial Baptist Church in South Bend.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. D. Philip Thomas, pastor of the Ardmore Wesleyan Church, South Bend, will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Friday in the Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home.
