Dan Deryl Blunk, 70, died December 8, 1995, at his home.
He was born July 24, 1925, at Hardtner, the son of John Glenn and Rena Brundridge Blunk. He attended Hardtner High School. A Lifelong Hardtner resident, he was a farmer and rancher.
On september 26, 1952, he married Rose Marie Kline at Alve, Oklahoma. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Dr. Jim Blunk, Caldwell; a daughter, Dr. Katie Blunk, Reno, Nevada; a sister, Val Johnson, Hutchinson; a grandson, Logan Daniel Blunk; and a step-grand-daughter, Stacy Volavka.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 11, 1995, at the United Methodist Church, Hardtner, with the Rev. Lew Van Der Wege presiding. Burial was in the Hardtner Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to the South Barber Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of Fisher Funeral Home, Kiowa.
