OBIT: Aug 18, 1899, Anthony Republican; " Annie Berry died Aug 13, 1899 at the home of Leroy Law, whose family were caring for Mrs. Berry in her illness." It said she had a twin brother L.C. Peterson. They were born in Pike Co, IL. In infancy their father died and at the age of 13 years their mother died and left two orphans to fight the battles of life alone in a cold and heartless world. Funeral services were held at the home of Leroy Law, Aug 14. Words of comfort were spoken by S C Oliver.
