Died on Monday evening the 13th at the home of her father, I.L. Mills Sr., in Beat 6, Mrs. Carry Fowler wife of G.F. Fowler. She leaves surviving her husband and one son, William two years old, and two daughters Verby May, five years old, Velma Lee aged three years. Her remains were interred at New Harmony Cemetery on the 14th. The Revs. R.F. Hawkins and G.W. Jones officiated at the funeral. Deceased had been suffering with Brights disease for a long time before her death. (Crenshaw County News - March 23, 1911)
