She was born on July 1, 1914 in Providence, RI to Theodore and Sadie Eisner. She lived most of her life in New York City. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Affelder. Mrs. Affelder is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Kahn of Cary, NC; granddaughter Rebecca Newby. A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York City.
