Helen M. Bluto

Born January 19, 1931. Died February 9, 2006. Predeceased by the love of her life, Linc, on February 2, 1992; sister, Sondra Hamlin; and daughter-in-law, Shari Bluto. Survived by brother, Bobby Jodoin and family; children, Christopher (Meg) Bluto, Wales, UK, Mathew (Debi) Bluto, Tucson, AZ, Anthony (Tammy) Bluto, Tucson, AZ, Paula (Randy) Hendricks, Everett, WA and Curt (Patsy) Bluto, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Rebecca (Sean) Ayers, Christopher (Micah) Bluto Jr., Aaron Hendricks, Mathew Bluto Jr., April Bluto, Nathan (Ashley) Bluto, Brandon Hendricks, Brandy (Clint) Fridye, Andrew (Sian) Bluto, Amy Myers, Andrea Bluto, Amanda Bluto, Curt Bluto, Jr., and Larissa Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren Derek, Marcus, Chantal, Samantha, Mathew III (Trey), Jayden, Sierra, Gavin, Brooklynn, Shaylynn and Shyloh. Helen was a professional seamstress, Air Force wife and mother, Friend to all, Team Mother, Cheerleader Coach, Sports supporter, Den Mother, and Girl Scout Leader. Helen was an active member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic parish and KCette volunteer as well as the KCette craft group. Linc and Helen were Marriage Encounter leaders, catechism teachers, and members of the Praise Alive Choir for more than 20 years. Helen was a caregiver of not only her family, but many other special people in her life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Augustine Catholic High School, 8800 E. 22nd St., Tucson, AZ 85710. Rosary will be recited 700 p.m., Monday, February 13, 2006 at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Mass will be offered 1000 a.m. Wednesday, February 15th at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, followed by interment in Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
