Franklin Delano Hale, 70, of Warrior died on October 15, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Morgan's Gardendale Chapel with Rev. Thomas Graves officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. He was retired from Birmingham Electrical Repair and Service Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jettie Almer and Lona Ella (Littrell) Hale; his brothers, Albert Titus Hale, David Harold Hale, and Jerry Wayne Hale, and Lelton Hale; his sister, Voncile Leola Higdon; and a grandson. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Charlotte (Speegle) Hale; his son, Mark Hale; his daughters, Annette Cooner, Melinda McAlpine, and Teresa Hawkins; his brothers, Billy Joe Hale and Norman Spencer Hale; his sisters, Faynell Frances Powell and Vondalee Alma Powell; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
