BIBBY, LELDON H. "PAPA", age 77, of Birmingham, died July 6, 1999. He was a retired painter with Shutter Kit Co. Attended Robinwood Church of God; Veteran of WWII. Funeral services will be Friday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Richard Ashley officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Gardendale Chapel.
Survivors: wife, Helen Bibby; daughters, Helen (Manuel) Mendibles of Tarrant and June (Richard) Decker of Ash Grove, Mo.; preceded in death by sons, Joseph and Paul Bibby; survived by sons, Leldow H. Bibby, Jr. of Tarrant, William T. (Patty A.) Bibby of Tarrant, Robert Troy (Denise) Bibby, and Robert Paul (Tina) Bibby of Kimberly; sister, Ozella Charles of Fenton, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
