Benjamin Brown was the son of Jonathan & Mary (Shattuck) Browne. (Jonathan Browne & Mary Shattuck were married February 11, 1661). Benjamin Brown was chosen as the 3rd Deacon in the Weston Church in 1715.

Benjamin Brown & Anna Gearfield, both of Watertown were Joyned in Marriage by Mr. Samuel Angiers, Minister of Watertown; March 31, 1703. [Note: The Watertown Vital Records entry may be in error, as Bond's Genealogy and History of Watertown gives the date as 31 March 1702/03; and other entries in the same Vital Records indicate the dates as 1702:3.]
