Rolla R. Proudfoot 58, died at his home at 1610 Bonnie Doone Ave. after a two day lung illness.
Since coming to Yakima 18 yrs ago, he had been the secretary of Gibson Packing Co.
He was a officer in John T. Alderson camp of United Spanish War Veterans and was a member of William Wharton post of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the First Methodist Church and the Masonic and Odd Fellows Lodges. He formerly lived in Walla Walla.
He is survived by his wife Fannie; three daughter Mrs. Lee Purcell , Charlotte and Frances of Yakima; a son Omar of New York City; a brother Harry of Wasco, Oregon., and two grandchildren.
