Conrad grew up in California and later moved with his family to Salem, OR and finally Mount Vernon, where he resided for over 20 years. He worked at Boeing as an Aerospace Mechanic until reaching the age of retirement.
Conrad was preceded in death by his parents; and wife of 33 years "Bobbie" in early 2007.
He is survived by his son Daniel, daughter Vanessa and their families.
He enjoyed listening to live music (especially the Blues), dancing with his wife, visiting with friends and family, attending car shows, restoring classic cars and hosting summertime BBQ's.
In life "Pete" was a great friend, father and person to all who came to know him. He will be loved and missed and never forgotten.
A service will be held for all friends and family members at the Skagit Station, with a reception to follow on May 30, 2009, at 1:00 PM
Conrad's ashes will be interned alongside his wife's at the North wall located by the water feature at Hawthorne Funeral Home and Memorial Park for anyone who wishes to visit.
