Chino, San Bernardino Co., CA—Saturday, 30 September 2000
William W. Alford of Chino, a former owner of B & B Locksmith, died Sept. 25 at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona. He was 70.
Mr. Alford was born July 8, 1930 in Dinuba. He lived in Chino for 24 years and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He attended First Baptist Church in Pomona, and was a member of the Ontario Lodge #301, F&AM, York Rite Montebello and the Al Malaikah Temple of Los Angeles. Mr. Alford is survived by his wife, Patricia of Chino; son, Gerald of Palmdale; two sisters, Hazel Polasek of Texas and Etta Baird of Farmerville; two brothers, Delbert Alford of Farmerville and Thomas DeWitt of Fresno; and one grandchild. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m., Sunday at Todd Memorial Chapel in Pomona. Interment will be Monday at Pomona Mausoleum Chapel at the Pomona Cemetery.
