Death Takes Mrs. Gregg
Jerome – Mrs. Eva H. Gregg, died Monday morning at her home at Apache Junction, Ariz., of a brief illness.
She was born in Barry, Ontario, Canada, and was married to Edward M. Gregg on July 6, 1904, in Bryant, Washington. In 1909 they moved to Jerome where they farmed south of town until 1942 when they moved to Twin Falls.
They spent the past eight winters in Arizona and the summers in Jerome. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Canyonside Grange.
Survivors in addition to her husband are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McKean, Twin Falls; Mrs. M. D. (Gladys) Patterson, Jerome; and Mrs. Ardis Griswold, Jacksonville, Florida; one son, Harold Gregg, Jerome; one brother, W. E. Montgomery, Toronto, Canada; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. One son died in 1942.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Friday in Hove Funeral Chapel by Rev. John N. Garrabrandt. Last rites will be in Jerome Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Wednesday evening, Thursday and Friday until time of services.
