Turner, Huldah, and daughter Alvira R. all died in MI in 1826. Daughter Alzina was only three at that time. They also had a daughter Almira who survived. Turner's brother, Enos Chappell, was appointed guardian of Alizina and Almira. He probably took Alzina and Almira back to NY. Enos died in Oct 1826. Thomas Pease became the girls' guardian. He was probably Huldah Pease Chappell's brother. Alzina Chappell married Rev. William Davis Tomkinson in 1840 in Wayne County, NY. They moved to Pontiac, Oakland County, MI in the 1840s. They probably had the gravestone marker made at that time. It is unknown if Turner, Huldah, and baby Alvira are actually buried in Oakhill Cemetery or on their land in Saginaw County, Saginaw County, MI.
