Thomas Acomb died at his residence on Sandy Hill yesterday morning. He had been ailing for some months. He was one of the old residents of that section and was a well to do farmer. Born in England in 1827 he came to America when six years old and had resided on Sandy Hill since 1834. He leaves a wife and several children. The funeral will take place at one o'clock on Saturday at the house.

The large farm of the late Thomas Acomb, of South Dansville, was sold at auction at the Bryant House in this village last Saturday afternoon by C. C. Bill, Esq., referee, and was purchased by John Hyland, of Dansville, for $15,000.
