Mr. Henry Williams Balt died at his home on Mulberry street, at 11:30 a.m. yesterday, of diseases incident of his advanced years. He was born at Cumberland, MD, July 12, 1829, being at the time of his death 76 years. He came to Duncansville in 1864, where he was employed as a nailer in the Portage iron works, under the firm of Musselman & Co. In 1882 he moved to Hollidaysburg, where for several years he had charge of the nail factory of B. M. Johnston & Co.

He was married on October 12, at Duncansville, to Miss Martha J. Ayers. The deceased is suvived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. M. F. Keckler* of Duncansville, Mrs. J. L. Shannon^ of Altoona, Mrs. George Weimer^ of Altoona, Charles Balt* and Harry Balt*, both of Hollidaysburg, Lloyd Balt of Pittsburg, Miss Blanche Balt, at home.

The funeral services will be held at the late hoome, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Carson Valley Cemetery.
