Viola Berneice Buss was born March 18, 1917, the daughter of John and Layla (Miles) Buss, in Inkster, N.D. She married John Fredericks on Nov.13, 1951, in Iowa. He died Jan. 27, 1983.
She is survived by a son, Daryl, Mitchellville, Iowa; stepdaughters, Mildred Tucker, Minonk, Ill., Bertha Ward, Sunnyvale, Calif., and Catherine Anderson, Madera, Calif.; and sisters, Nellie and Katherine.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Evangelical Free Church, Newfolden, Minn.
Visitation: After 6 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Collins Funeral Chapel, Karlstad, and one hour before services in the church.
Burial: Karlstad Cemetery.
