Richard Eugene Bickers, 70, of Newport, died Friday at his son's home in Cold Spring. He was a self-employed interior decorator and an Army veteran.
Survivors include sons, Ronald Wayne Bickers of Cold Spring, Richard Eugene Bickers Jr. and Randall Nelson Bickers, both of Crittenden, and Tony Hudson of Covington; a daughter, Denise Mullins of Bellevue; sisters, Pat Chambers of Alexandria, Bernice Johnson of Covington and Leola Rensick of Connersville, Ind.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at noon Tuesday at Main Street Baptist Church, Alexandria. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate. Memorials are suggested to Main Street Baptist Church, 11093 Alexandria Pike, Alexandria, Ky. 41001.
