After a long and happy life, filled brimful with friends and relatives, Mrs. Lida A. Dodd, wife of John B. Albright, passed peacefully away at her home on the Greenfield Pike, Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. of a complication of diseases.

She was stricken about three and one-half years ago, but was able to be about in her weakened condition until about six months ago, when the recurrent attacks made steady inroad upon her vitality. With strong Christian fortitude and patience she bore her affliction and retained her cheerful disposition through it all.

The deceased was the daughter of Albert and Elizabeth McCabe Dodd and was born Oct. 27, 1872, at Kingston, Ohio.

She joined the M. E. Church of that village in early girlhood and gave of her time, means and energy for the advancement of Christ's Kingdom upon earth. Sweet and gentle in disposition, kind and sympathetic, generous in word, thought and deed, she was beloved by all who knew her. She was a home-loving woman and her happiest moments were spent there in loving devotion to her husband and children. Her charming presence always radiated like sunshine to all who came into her home.

She had endeared herself to a wide circle of friends, all of whom deeply deplore her death and extend sincere sympathy to the bereft husband; father; seven children, Myrtle, Laura, Margery, Marie, Mary, Glen and Herman; one sister, Mrs. Edward Raymond, of Columbus; and one brother, Elmer Dodd, of Kingston, all of whom remained at her bedside until "God's finger touched her and she fell asleep only to awaken in eternity."

One little son passed away in early infancy.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 Tuesday afternoon at her late residence, Rev. A. H. Nicholson of Washington, C. H., officiating. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.
