Phenix City, AL – George Washington Adams, 57, of 1308 Eighth Street South, Phenix City, AL, died Friday, October 8, 1999 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. edt Sunday at Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, with Rev. Elbert Ward officiating, according to Vance Memorial Chapel, Phenix City. There will be no visitation.
Mr. Adams was born February 22, 1942 in Pike County, AL, the son of the late Bobby Adams and Ophelia Whittington Adams.
Mr. Adams is survived by three daughters, Crystal Foster, Kelly Thomason and Donna D'Ostroph, all of Phenix City; two sons, Vince Adams and Darrin Adams, both of Phenix City; three sisters, Bobbie Hall of Phenix City, Sara Sanders of Harris County, GA and Erie Snead of Stockbridge, GA; three brothers, James Adams of Phenix City, Edward Adams of Bonifay, FL and Raymond Adams of Phenix City; eight grandchildren on one great-grandchild.
