This grave was relocated in May 1950 by the Corps Of Engineers from the Old Friend Cemetery in Theodosia, MO when Bulls Shoals Reservoir was constructed and covered cemetery with water. See Corps of Engineers Drawing: Bull Shoals Reservoir Cemetery Relocation Serial 5955 File 139/1691.∼John was a son of Elijah and Mary (Herd)Friend.
He was married to Flora Lena Elliott on July 27, 1890 Missouri.
