29391 Pte.John Conway, 12th.Btn.Royal Berkshire Regiment, Died, Aged 40 on the 7th.March 1919 as 97544 Labour Corps.
John had enlisted the 12-12-1915 as 21065 Devonshire Regiment, transferred to the Royal Berkshire Regiment on the 17-7-1916 as 29391. Later Transferred to the Labour Corps on the 9-5-1917 as 97544 and was Discharged due to Sickness on the 31-1-1919 from the Military Hospital, at the Curragh Camp.
John was immediately awarded a Silver War Badge, number B123614 but sadly died in Hospital with the cause of death given as 'Tuberculosis of Lungs'.
John had previously served on the Western Front from the 19-8-1916 to 25-4-1918.
