Entered into rest in Manheim Township, PA on June 12, 1988. NORMAN E. KRUEGER, husband of Kathryn Gochenaur Krueger, of 220 N. Walnut St., Lititz, PA in his 76th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service from the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ephrata, 21 E. Locust St., Ephrata, PA on Wednesday at 7:30PM with the Reverend Stephen P Beck officiating. Interment in Lititz Moravian Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Family will be receiving friends at the church after the memorial service on Wednesday evening. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ephrata, 21 E. Locust St., Ephrata, PA 17522. Heisey Funeral Home, Lititz, PA in charge of arrangements."

"N. Krueger, 75, Engineer For Rockets

Norman E. Krueger, 75, or 220 N. Walnut St., Lititz, died Sunday following a lengthy illness.
He was the husband of Kathryn Gochenaur Kruger(sic) at home with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage last December.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Norman E. and Pauline Stiegler.
A 1931 graduate of the Lancaster Boys High School, he lived in Lancaster until 1940 when he moved to West Chester. He lived there for nearly 40 years, moving to Lititz in 1981.
He retired in 1977 after a 47 year career as a mechanical engineer for Morton Thiokol Inc., Elkton, Md., where he was part of the design team for the rocket engines used in the Apollo Lunar, Gemini and Mercury space missions.
Prior to that, we worked as a tookmaker for Westinghouse Electric Corp., Lester, for 15 years and the then Armstrong Cork Co., Lancaster.
He was deacon emeritus in the Reformed Presbyterian Church of America and a member of its Ephrata church. For 30 years before returning to Lancaster area, he was a deacon, Sunday school superintendent and teacher for the Reformed Presbyterian Church, West Chester.
An amateur genealogist, he was a member of the Morrow Computer Users of Southeastern Pennsylvania, the Lancaster Mennonite, Lititz and Cocalico Historical Societies; and a founding member of the Bucks Ridge Ski Club, Philadelphia, where he also served as a first aid instructor and ski patrol member.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Norman E., Dallas, Texas, and Terry N., Christiana; a daughter, Ruth E. Fedder, Downingtown; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nephews; and a niece."
