Died: The Star is again called upon to announce another death. Mrs. L. M. Hodges died last Saturday morning and on Sunday afternoon her remains were interred in Barnesville cemetery. She was an old lady and had been ailing a long time, and when summoned up higher was prepared to go. Those who knew her say that she was an exemplary Christian and a good motherly woman. (Hume Star)

HODGES--At her home in Potosi township, on Saturday morning, Nov. 13, at eight o'clock, of blood poisoning, Lucinda, wife of L. M. Hodges, in the 63d year of her age. The funeral was held at the house and was conducted by Rev. Evans. Deceased was the mother of fifteen children, all of whom have passed over the cold river of death except four. Her remains were conveyed to the Barnesville cemetery by a large procession of friends and relatives. She was an exemplary Christian mother, and although she has passed to the unknown her memory will ever be cherished in the hearts of the people of her neighborhood. She leaves a husband; two daughters and two sons, and a large number of friends to mourn their loss. The bereaved family have the sympathy of everybody. A Friend.
