Miller, John L. Sr. - age 85, of 8062 Steekee Road, Loudon, died Wednesday at Park West Hospital. Member of Steekee Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Julia Grimes Miller. Survivors: Sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Betty Miller, Johnny and Rita Miller of Loudon, James and Katie Miller of Lenoir City. Kenneth and Daisy Miller of Philadelphia; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Butch Sledge of Philadelphia, Betty Jean and Gary Wade of Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral service 8 p.m. Friday at the Loudon Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Rod Miller officiating. Interment 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Loudon Funeral Home.
