Jewel Beatrice Large, 56 a lifelong resident here died at 10:45 a.m. Friday at the Blackwood Hospital Comanche after an illness of four days.

Born Sept. 26, 1905 in Rising Star, she was married to Dewey C. Large June 23, 1921 in Rising Star. Mrs. Large was a member of the first Church of Christ.

Funeral will be at the Rising Star Church of Christ at 3:00 p.m. Sunday with H. McDonald, minister, officiating, assisted by M.L. Vaughn of Abilene.

Burial will be in the Rising Start Cemetery under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home of Rising Star.

Surviving are her husband; her mother, Mrs. Lola Hamilton of Palestine, Tex.; two sons, Oscar Large of San Antonio and Dean Large of Midland; one Daughter Mrs. Aleta Tyra of Casa Grande, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Ulysses Hamilton of Wichita Falls, Joe Hamilton of Wichita Falls, Jay and Aaron of Cisco, and Jim Hamilton of Provo, Utah; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Shook of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Emma Ray of Fort Stockton, Mrs. Lilly Reed of Pocama, Wash., and Mrs. Leo Gossett of Palestine, Tex.

Pallbearers will be H.H. Lawson, Jack Agnew, Curtis Alford, A.W. Bailey, Robert Feale and Weldon Hill.
