She was born in Silver Creek,GA., Nov.12,1949 daughter of Will Aaron Roberts and Clara Mae Bragg Roberts and lived in Florida for several year working at fruit and vegetable packing houses. She was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Criswell and a brother, Melvin Roberts.
Surviving is a special friend, George Ferguson,Rome; four sons, Ronnie Coburn,Rome, Percy Criswell,Jr.,Lindale, Elbert Criswell, Temple,GA., Gene Criswell; two daughters, Clara Criswell, Blairsville and Molly(Matt) Cox, Hixson,TN.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Rev.Tim Baird officiating. Interment will be in East View cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6PM to 8 PM Thursday at Good Shepherd and at other hours will be at the home of Curtis and Joann Edwards, 34 West Oak Dr., 706-237-6777 or 706-409-3416.
Pallbearers are asked to meet at the Chapel by 1:30 pm Friday and include Joseph Hancock, Lamar Edwards, Matthew Cox, George Ferguson, Jimmy Edwards and David Hutchins.
