Garwood - Services for Kenneth M. Bowlby, Jr. were held Friday at the Kenilworth Funeral Home. Mr. Bowlby, 51, died October 30.
He lived in Garwood most of his life, and was a teacher in Plainfield for the last 12 years, most recently at the Evergreen Elementary School.
Surviving are two sons, Mark of Roselle Park and David of Garwood; three daughters, Mrs. Linda Hicks of Florida, Mrs. Pam Robinson of Colorado, and Mrs. Cynthia Vett of Kenilworth; two brothers, Jack of Garwood and Robert of Westfield, and eight grandchildren.
Personal note: He was a math and science teacher in the Plainfield, NJ school system, and loved by his students.
