RAYMOND C. ADAMS
Raymond C. Adams died in Laguna Hills, California, Tuesday, April 27. He was formerly an athletic coach at Gerstmeyer Technical High School in Terre Haute and later was vice principal and director of adult and war training classes in Terre Haute schools.
A graduate of Indiana State University and Columbia University in New York, he was a member of Rosedale Masonic Lodge and Terre Haute Scottish Rite and Shrine.
Mr. Adams was born in Rosedale, Parke County, Indiana in 1893, the son of Daniel Clark and Maggie Amanda Carrithers Adams.
Surviving are a brother, Elwood of Laguna Hills, and two sisters-in-law, Juneth Adams and Helen Adams.
Following cremation, the ashes will be returned to Cottrell Funeral Home in Rosedale. Masonic graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 11, in Rosedale Cemetery.
