EDGAR S. ADAMS

Edgar S. Adams of Salem, formerly of Ladoga, age 93, died in Washington County Hospital at Salem, Friday afternoon, August 9. He was born in Parke County April 27, 1881, the son of John P. and Clarissa Ann Stryker Adams. He was married to Sarah E. Ross in 1905, and she died in 1957. He was a retired farmer and attended the Harmony Church of Christ while living in this area.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons.
Funeral services were held at the Butler Funeral Home this (Monday) afternoon with Rev. James O. Trousdale officiating. Burial was in the Rockville Cemetery.
