"Bonnie" was the daughter of George Ulery and Elizabeth C. Anderson. The family lived in Calhoun County, Illinois, and her father worked as a salesman for Dr. Reeder's Family Medicines in Pike County, Illinois. He was elected Calhoun County Clerk, but died of pneumonia on the day he was to have been sworn into office in 1908.

After George's death, Bonnie and her mother moved to Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois. They lived there with Elizabeth's sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Joseph B. Truchon, and their family for a time.

Bonnie's mother then married Dr. Clifford Burbridge. They lived in Calhoun County, Illinois, but later moved to Pleasant Hill in Pike County. Bonnie's mother and step-father were the parents of 2 boys.

Bonnie and 1 of her half-brothers, Jesse Burbridge, lived in St. Louis, Missouri by 1940. She worked as a manicurist in a barber shop.

Bonnie was married to Hugh Timmons Connell. He was a native of Monticello, Jefferson County, Florida and the son of Hugh Connell and Julia Braswell.

Hugh was a contractor. Bonnie and he lived in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Hugh passed away in 1957. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman, Brooks County, Georgia on 06 May 1957. [Note: Hugh's parents are also buried at Oak Hill.]

Bonnie died in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1962 at the age of 5 years, 3 months and 7 days. She was survived by 2 half-brothers, Jesse Burbridge of Springfield, Illinois, and Aloys Burbridge of Louisiana, Missouri.

Bonnie's body was returned to Calhoun County for visitation at the C. C. Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin, Illinois after 2 p.m. on 22 Feb 1962. Funeral services were conducted there at 2 p.m. the following afternoon. She was buried near her mother.

Bonnie's half-brother, Jesse, died in 1974 and was buried next to her. They have matching stones.
